Somedays the brewing fails to go as planned. My last two brews were littered with issues. Kettles failing, and brewers forgetting to add dry hops as planned.. Its all part of the game, the really positive is that it all becomes good beer. Sometimes it can even be a good thing, and gives isight into the aromas and flavours that define a particular beer.
I have been looking to improve the aroma profile of Americipa, and had revised the malt and hops. Forgetting to add the dry hops gave me the opportunity to taste the base profile, and that was so good!
The next batch may just need to be split, so that I can try two different dry hops schemes.
Never so bad it has no value.
Its how good beer becomes great beer after all
