From time to time I get served craftbeer that fails to meet expectations. Brewing beer does affect your standards, but I have been served beer that was of poor quality.
I am a huge fan and advocate local microbreweries, and hope that the quality of their product is to a certain standard.
As I have learned more about the brewing process, it becomes even more frustrating to find commercial microbreweries cutting on quality.
At Woodcock Road this attention to quality is what ensures great beer. It may mean that a beer may differ in taste between batches, and for the time being thats fine. But quality is not something I am willing to compromise.
It has also changed my veiw on large commercial breweries. Their beers are still boring, but their quality standards, and the taste stability over time is impressive.
