Temptations

There is always something I would like to make. being a test, a new recepie, or ideas for development. This list seems to be never ending..

I have a number of beers that I really like, and that I aim to constantly have on hand. And here lies the problem.. Our capacity is limited, both in production, and in lagering, so hard choices need to be made.

Mostly I prioritise to keep my best beers on hand, and a fair variety of them, so development takes a back seat. I did try to do extract test batches, but they differ in my opinion too far from the grain made, that they are more beers in their own right, rather than test beers to be brewed later as all grain beers.

I have just done a major development of our Dangerous Blonde, so new hops, and a new mash schedule, and new yeast. I am really excited to sample the end product. The initial taste of wort, was not very promising, but then conditioning and lagering is truly a wondrous thing.

so hope is still on hand, and hoping that I struck gold, and just added another beer to always have available... Murphys law apparently also applies in brewing..

Have a great weekend, oh, and cheers!
