Forgive me..

Forgive me for it has been too many moons since my last post.. Despite not writing for some time, we have for sure been busy. The fermentation setup has been refurbished and fully insulated. Norway can be very cold during winter..

Today saw a new NEIPA recipe brewed for the first time. "Kevins hop-apocalypse" has a massive 830 grams of hops.. Simple Pale malt grain bill, with a slight addition of flaked oats..

The brewery has also seen a move to kegs rather than bottles.. In a move to eliminate any oxydization it was the only way to go. Expect further updates..

We also just got a new load of hops from Yakima Valley! This time including whole hop leaf. Citra and El Dorado. Plan to use them in a whole hop NEIPA codenamed "flower Power"

Also got a few pounds of Medusa hops, so we will be busy the next coming weeks..

Also planning to divert from the norm on the flower power, and go with a malt bill using only pilsner malt. To date we have used Maris otter, but I do like the very light color from pilsner.

Almost wish for more fermentation space, but better not go there.. at least not yet..
